DOLLY WILVINIA MOATS BOHON, age 82 years, a resident of Westminster MD departed this life early Saturday morning, May 30, 2015 at the Carroll Hospital Center at Westminster, MD, with her family at her side. She had been in her usual health, however death was unexpected and attributed to a stroke. She was born Monday September 6, 1932 in Aurora WV, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lillie Pearl Wagner Moats. On October 17, 1953 at Winchester, VA., she was married to Billie Bohon, who preceded her in death on June 6, 1978. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Joyce Seamann and husband Eugene of Vine Grove, KY, Donna Sue Fritz and husband Lawrence of Westminster MD, Sandra Joan Ramos of Westminster MD; two sons, Steven Vaughn Bohon of Tokyo Japan, Keith Maynard Bohon and wife Kathy of Harpers Ferry, WV; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are two brothers Milton and Jessie "Willard" Moats; and seven sisters, Elda Lipscomb, Rhoda Root, Fanny Roe, Algreta Davis, Ardith Lee and Bernadett Moats. She attended the schools of Preston County. She was a homemaker. From 1978 until 1995, she was a resident of Martinsburg, WV, where she was a former employee of the Musselman Applesauce Company. Since 1995, she made her home in Westminster MD. Dolly enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, knitting, crocheting, and watching cooking and outdoors shows about Alaska on TV. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 11:30 until 1:00 PM the funeral hour. The Reverend Derek Syruws will officiate and interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in St. George, WV.
