Donald Harry Reisberg, 92 of Marriottsville, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home. Born June 2, 1922 in Marriottsville, he was the son of the late Harry and Edna Louise Triplett Reisberg. He was the husband of Hilda Elizabeth Morris Reisberg, his wife of over 72 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served at the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Phillipines. He had been a shift supervisor and superintendent with Transcontinental Gas Line. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Connie Louise Bialecki of Westminster, and Deborah Hilda Maeder of Millers, grandson Michael Bialecki and great granddaughters Madelyn and Morgan Bialecki. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy White and Esther Tawney. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Private interment in Wards Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baltimore County Humane Society, www.bmorehumane.org.
