Donald "Keith" Hennessee, 59, of Taneytown, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his residence. Born Feb. 4, 1955 in Marion, NC, he was the son of William Donald Hennessee of Finksburg and the late Mary Charlynn Hennessee. He was employed with Cianbro Construction as a heavy equipment and crane operator. He was a 1973 graduate of Westminster High School where he played running back on the football team and wore No. 32. He also attended Towson University. He was a Ravens and Orioles fan and enjoyed fishing and being a loving Dad. In addition to his father, he is survived by daughters Christina M. Steakin of Westminster and Jennifer L. Wathen and husband Michael of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother Robert C. Hennessee and wife Lisa of Taneytown; grandchildren Issac Steakin, Kyle, Korey, Alexis and Bryanna Wathen; an aunt and uncles Rebecca and Jacob Wright of Marion, NC and David Goins of Morganton, NC. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 3006 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, with Rev. Wm. Louis Piel officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services in Westminster.
