Donna Kay Cook, 67, of Westminster, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at home.

Born June 16, 1946 in Silver Run, she was the daughter of the late Sterling Arthur Wentz and Cora Irene Dell Wentz.

She had attended of Francis Scott Key High School.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed Bible study at Grace Lutheran and Timber Ridge, Ardent Folk, and the Rev. Martha's Book Club. She also enjoyed bingo at the senior center, reading, and word searches.

Surviving are children Ronald E. Wentz and Sheila McDermitt, both of Westminster; sisters Patsy Sleeger, of Sykesville, Shirley Wentz, of Westminster, and Linda Robertson, of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; brothers Edgar Wentz, of Union Bridge and Wayne Wentz, of Thurmont; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, with the Revs. Martha and Kevin Clementson officiating. Inurnment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Union Bridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD 21157, to help defray funeral expenses.
