Doris Warehime King, 83, of Littlestown, Pa., died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at home.

Born Aug. 8, 1929, at her home in Silver Run, she was the daughter of the late Morlan M. and Margaret Rinehart Warehime. She was the wife of Robert H. King, who died in 1989.

She was a graduate of Westminster Senior High School. She worked for Beacon Steel as a secretary and had retired after more than 40 years of service.

She was a member of St. Mary's United Church of Christ for more than 70 years, where she was a member of the Mother's Class for more than 50 years. She also volunteered for the Adams County Election Board. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her home.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Kathy and David Stebbins; and grandson Bradley Stebbins, all of Garnet Valley, Pa.; and a niece, Debbie Hahn, of Westminster.

She was predeceased by siblings Joan W. Hahn and Robert Warehime.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, 11 a.m. Saturday at St, Mary's United Church of Christ, 1441 E. Mayberry Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Scott officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mary's U.C.C., 1441 E. Mayberry Road, Westminster, MD 21158.
