Dorothy L. Luckabaugh, 89, of Hanover, Pa., died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Fair Havens in Hanover.

Born Feb. 10, 1924, in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary S. Baumgardner Fuhrman. She was the wife of George W. Luckabaugh, who died July 22, 1988.

She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Time Temple in Hanover. She loved to have weeklong yard sales, enjoyed going on mystery trips with Rill's Bus Service and liked taking day trips with the Super 60s. She also raised African violets and parakeets.

Surviving are children Nancy J. Houser and husband Cleaborn, of Westminster, Gene A. Luckabaugh and companion Nancy, of Hanover, Larry E. Luckabaugh and wife Florence, of Manchester, Darlene M. Edwards, of Manchester, and James E. Luckabaugh and wife T.J., of Manchester; a sister, Shirley I. Renoll Snyder, of Hanover; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter Janet E. Luckabaugh; a brother, Carroll D. Fuhrman Sr.; and a grandson, Gene A. Schierbaum.

Friends may visit from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harvest Time Temple, 700 Black Rock Road, Hanover, with the Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Interment will be in St. David's Cemetery, Hanover.
