Dorothy Mae Hepburn, 90, of Westminster, formerly of Randallstown, died January 31, 2016 at LookAbout Manor in Westminster. Born May 5, 1925 in Rockingham, NC, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Athelia Outlaw Brigman. She was the wife of the late James C. Hepburn who died in 1991. Dorothy worked in the Cafeteria at Church Lane Elementary School until her retirement. She also worked in the Men's Department at Towers, Polands and Floyds stores in Randallstown. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed watching Maryland basketball and Orioles baseball, walking, cooking and baking, flower gardening and especially enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a parishioner at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Manchester. Surviving is son and daughter-in-law Patrick J. and Yvonne Hepburn of Hampstead; daughter Terry Sheldon and James Coleman of Tucson, AZ; sister Anne Batchelor of Boise, ID; grandchildren Brian and Angie Childs, Casie and Michael Hall, Jesica and Fred Becker, Jayme and Joe Harkins, Nick Sheldon and Krista Telnes; great grandchildren Zachary, Brayden, Hunter, Taylor, Makena, Cohen, Cheyenne and Reagan. She was predeceased by her infant son Michael P. Hepburn and by siblings James and John Brigman, Ruby LaVoie, twins George and Martin Brigman and Betty Brigman. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to , 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
