Dorothy S. Ireland, 85, of Westminster, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born March 19, 1927, in Baltimore, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Mary A. Kagel Wicklein. She was the wife of James E. Ireland, her husband of 66 years.

She was a high school graduate and worked on the family dairy farm. She was a member of St. Mary's United Church of Christ in Silver Run and was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church, Baltimore.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter Barbara D. Ireland and husband Barry Buchoff, of Timonium; son Charles L. Ireland and wife Ginger, of Westminster; grandchildren Greg, Vaughn and Aaron Ireland and Michael Buchoff; and great-grandchildren Carli, Eoghan and Zoe Ireland.

She was predeceased by four brothers; and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, Pa.; and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's United Church of Christ, 1441 E. Mayberry Road, Silver Run, with the Rev. Dr. Richard W. Scott officiating. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery.
