Dorothy Viola Bosley, 90, of Glen Rock, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at home.

Born Jan. 27, 1923, in Manheim Township, York County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Adam M. and Rebecca Fisher Krebs. She was the wife of the late W. Russel Bosley.

She and her husband farmed in the Codorus Township area for many years. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, cooking on Sundays for family and friends and teaching her daughters to embroider. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, where she was a children's Sunday school helper. She enjoyed listening to church services on CD. Her greatest joy was to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchilden.

Surviving are children Linda Workman and husband Ron, of York, Pa., Richard Bosley, and Marvin Bosley and wife Norma Jean, all of Glenville, Pa., Elaine Gilbert and husband Mick, of Glen Rock, Brenda Walker and husband Leroy, of Thomasville, Pa., David Bosley, of New Freedom, Pa., Diana Haines and husband Ronald, of Westminster, and Randy Bosley and wife Missy, of Palmetto, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; a daughter-in-law, Deb Bosley, of Spring Grove, Pa.; and a brother-in-law, Earl Bankert, of Jefferson, Pa.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry Bosley; a sister; and six brothers.

Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, Pa.; and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, with the Revs. John C. Dorr Jr. and Thomas D. Bellis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
