Dorothy V. Warehime, 88, formerly of Aspers, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg, Pa.

Born Oct. 20, 1924, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Nusbaum Gist. She was the wife of George Truman Warehime, who died June 21, 2010.

She retired from Black & Decker of Hampstead in 1997 after 25 years of service.

Surviving are a daughter, Thelma J. Kitzmiller- Middleton, of Wellsville; sons George E. Warehime, of Aspers, and Dennis P. Warehime, of Biglerville; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Kenneth Gist, of Westminster; a sister, Margaret Mathias, of Westminster; and a companion, John Forsythe, of Aspers.

She was predeceased by brothers Benjamin Jr. and Phillip Gist.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service, 10 a.m. Saturday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, Pa. with the Rev. Kenneth R.W. Reid, of Mountain Top Ministries, officiating. Interment will be in John Luther Miller Cemetery in Westminster.
