Earl Gray Keeter, 84, of Finksburg, formerly of Howard County, died Friday August 22, 2014 at Howard County General Hospital. Born December 15, 1929 in Greenville, NC he was the son of the late John Jacob and Mammie Coley Keeter. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth A. Keeter whom he married September 2, 1950, and who predeceased him on October 14, 2007. He served in the Army from 1952-1954. He was a food broker, representing many clients over his long career, most notably, Citrus World, the makers of Donald Duck Orange Juice. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Food Brokers Association. Surviving him are daughter and son-in-law Kara and David Urban of Finksburg, and grandchildren Katie and Kyler Urban of Finksburg. He was predeceased by siblings John Jr., Wilbert "Buddy", Charles, and Della Keeter. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Sandy Mount United Methodist Church, 2101 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, where the family will receive friends from 10 am until the start of service. Rev. Robert Wellman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Sandy Mount United Methodist Church, 2101 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg MD 21048.
