Ednamae Easton (nee Webb), age 93 of Sykesville, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born December 10, 1924 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Arthur and Edna Midgley Fretwell Webb. She was the wife of the late Paul Elliott Easton. Ednamae retired from Carroll County Public Schools in 1987 after working for 20 years as a secretary in the central office. She was a long time member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. She was also active as a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the Daughters of American Colonists (DAC) and the Mayflower Society. She was an avid Orioles fan as she enjoyed watching many games. She also enjoyed bowling and needlework and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Her survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard Paul and Patricia Easton of Sykesville and Gary Miller and Sharon Easton of Hanover, PA; her daughter and son-in-law Paula Jo and Keith Mansfield of Kearneysville, WV; her grandchildren, Nicole, Kelly Jo, Amanda Jo, Trista, Nicholas, Julia and Danielle; great grandchildren, Zoe, Zachary, Brandon, Montana, Shelby, Ryan and Cole; niece, Georgia Elaine Frank; and nephew, James Webb Kreimer. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Ellen Webb. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road in Sykesville where a funeral will be held on Monday at 11am.
