Edsel "Ed" Bliss Wickline, 83, of Upperco, passed away on November 15, 2016 at home. Born October 17, 1933 in Hillsboro, WV, he was the son of the late Herman and May (Waugh) Wickline. He was the husband of the late Alma Gertrude Wickline. He served in the Army from 1954 - 1956. He was a member of American Legion Post 200, Hampstead. He enjoyed hunting, planting vegetable gardens, bird watching and helping out at the American Legion. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Surviving are daughters, Alma May Martin and husband Brian of Upperco and Laura A. Martin of Hampstead; son, Robert Bliss Wickline and wife Carla M. of Hampstead; sisters, Harriett Wickline Dooley of Chesapeake, VA, Nancy Wickline Lemmon of Upperco; sister-in-law, Maryjane Wickline of Upperco; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Frederick J. and Thomas P. Wickline. Per his wishes there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements by ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post 200, P.O. Box 292, Hampstead, MD 21074.
