Edward C. Hubbert, Sr., 96, of Parkton, MD passed away on January 26, 2017. Born November 20, 1920 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late David and Wilhemina (Carr) Hubbert and the beloved husband of Edith Hubbert. Ed served his country honorably during WWII in the US Army Air Corps, and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. Ed started work at C& P and ended up working for Verizon. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers. Ed is predeceased by his two sons, Ronald Rene Hubbert and Lawrence Hubbert. Ed is survived by Edith Hubbert, his wife of 70 years, his son, Edward Hubbert, Jr., daughter, Joann Winneberger, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
