Edward Joseph "Mr. Ed" Musil, 82, of Finksburg passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born on June 3, 1933 in Baltimore and was the son of the late Edward John and Anna Mary Baranowski Musil. He was the loving husband of the late Anna Jean Biggs Musil, who predeceased him in 1980. Edward was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War. He was a police officer with the Baltimore County Police Department retiring in 1987 and continued his working career as a school bus driver for McDonogh School. He was a member of the Baltimore County Retired Police Officers Association. Some of his favorite hobbies included crabbing, gardening and horse racing. He loved spending time with his family. Surviving him are daughter Victoria L. Starkey of Mt. Airy, son Edward J. Musil, Jr. of Finksburg, son and daughter-in-law David C. and Carol Musil of Union Bridge, and daughter and son-in-law Michele A. and Mark Alessi of Parkton; grandchildren Jeffrey Starkey, Christina Starkey, Rebecca Ewen, David C. Musil, Jr., Stacey Musil, Noelle Alessi and Mia Alessi; great-grandchildren Annabelle Musil and Joey Ewen and dear friend Karen Fox. He was predeceased by son-in-law Joseph N. Starkey IV and sister Doris A. Musil. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Springfield Cemetery, Sykesville.
