Edwin "Eddie" Lee Miller, Jr., 48, of Shepherdstown, WV passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his residence. Born September 14, 1966 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Edwin Lee Miller, Sr. of Shepherdstown, WV and the late Regina Sheets Miller. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a US Army veteran with 12 years of service. He later spent 8 years as a military government contractor helping to rebuild Iraq. He was a master mechanic and an avid fisherman. Eddie also had a passion for gardening, managing to grow two pineapple trees in his sister's house. His industrialism will be deeply missed. In addition to his father, he is survived by four daughters, Amanda Bem of New Mexico; Alicia Miller of Salisbury, MD; Kyrstin Miller of Bourbonnais, IL; Ariana Miller of Shepherdstown, WV; two sons, Edwin Miller III of Salisbury, MD and Zander Miller of Hong Kong; fiance' Priscila Camposano of Hong Kong; three grandchildren, two sisters, Tammy Lavoie and husband, Joseph of Inwood, WV; and Lisa Saghy and husband, David of Shepherdstown, WV, one brother, Stephen Miller of Westminster, MD and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 St. Agnes Catholic Church, 106 S. Duke Street, Shepherdstown, WV with Rev. Fr. T. Mathew Rowgh as the Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 3-5 pm on Tuesday evening with a fellowship meal to follow at the Parish House. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or to St Agnes Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1603, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
