Eileen Frank Kazer, age 96 of Ellicott City, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at her home. Born December 6, 1920 in Howard County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Rosseter Frank and the late Edna Mae Ridgely Frank. She was the wife of the late William George Kazer, Sr. who died in 1972. She had been a banking executive with Commercial and Farmers Bank in Ellicott City for many years. She had also served as President of the Maryland Safe Deposit Association and participated in several national conventions. She had served as an officer with the West Friendship Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bird watching. Surviving are son William George Kazer Jr. of Denton, daughter Eileen Joyce Kazer Schmidt of Woodbine, brother Edward Rosseter Frank Jr., sister Mabel Olivia Frank, grandchildren Amanda Schmidt, Jessica Wakelin, Brian Schmidt, Vincent Kazer, and Alex Kazer, and great grandchildren Zackery, M.J., Zoey, and Matthew. She was predeceased by her brother, Burgoyne Frank. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Gettysburg National Cemetery.
