Elizabeth Brooks Wilkerson, 56, of Black Rock Village, York County, Pa., died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at home.

She was the daughter of Harry Byrd Brooks and Linda Ellis.

She was a Master Gardner with a vision for composing residential landscapes. Her many passions included her sole-proprietorship of Landscape Gardening for more than 25 years, as well as interior decorating, appreciating all genres of music, viewing impressionist paintings in metropolitan museums, trail hiking, and biking.

Surviving are sons Zachary Zito and Brooks Wilkerson; a daughter, Molly Wilkerson; sisters Jeanne Brooks, Willie Eder and husband Bill, Diane Bizzarri and husband Tony, and Anita Diaz; a brother, John Brooks; life partner Jeff Boggs; nieces Jennifer Hicks Grider, Billie Jo Naylor, Emily, Amanda and Olivia Bizzarri, Nicole Sleeth, Amanda, Jessie and Sadie Brooks, and Alix, Victoria and Summer Diaz; and nephews Steve and Tim Hicks, Alan Naylor and Tony Bizzarri Jr.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at noon July 29 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York sanctuary, 925 S. George St., York, Pa.
