Mrs. Ella Fay Nusbaum Harman, 84, formerly of Union Bridge, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Tranquillity at Fredericktowne. Born May 7, 1930 in Union Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Lester K. and Helena C. Eyler Nusbaum. She was the wife of George S. Harman who died in 2013. Mrs. Harman was a graduate of Elmer Wolfe High School. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed bowling at the Walkersville Lanes and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are 2 daughters, Cheryl Rohrbaugh and husband James of Spring Grove, PA and Helena Harman of Denver, CO; a son, George Harman and wife Diane of Frederick; 5 grandchildren, Paul N., Joshua J. and Carolyn F. Rohrbaugh and Amelia G. and Ethan S. Harman; a great granddaughter, Lydia Rohrbaugh; a sister, Christine Devilbiss and husband Bruce, near Union Bridge; a brother, Darlow Nusbaum and wife Norma of Thurmont and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Van Orden Nease in 2013. The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 23. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 24 at Pipe Creek Cemetery, Clear Ridge Rd., between New Windsor and Uniontown. Anyone planning to attend should meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
