Emma Moses, 76, of New Windsor, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at home.

Born March 17, 1937, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sam Lee Messer and Bina Messer. She was the wife of the late Alva Joe Moses.

Before retiring, she worked at the Brethren Service Center for 31 years in the kitchen.

Surviving are children Marie Spinicchia and husband Fred Spinicchia, of Manchester, Billie Jean Messer-Lambert and husband Bill Lambert, of Eskdale, W.Va., and Alva Lee Moses, of New Windsor; and grandchildren Melissa Spinicchia, Traci Peay and Kristin Rose.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Church, 1340 Main St., Hamsptead, with the Rev. Doug Johnson officiating.

Per her wishes, her body was donated to the Anatomy Board.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
