Erno Balogh, 79, of Westminster passed away at home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Born January 1, 1936, in Hungary, he was the son of the late Sandor and Maria (Nagy) Balogh. He was the husband of Borbala "Barbara" (Prim) Balogh. Erno was a retired mechanical engineer for Northrop Grumman and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1961-1963. He was a member of the Westminster Elks Club and attended St. John Catholic Church. An avid reader who enjoyed playing cards with family, he also enjoyed traveling. Surviving in addition to his wife are son Attila E. Balogh and wife Izabella; daughter Erika B. Schreyer and husband Blaise; Twin brother Geza Balogh and wife Nancy; sisters Eva Velo and husband Steve and Martha Mitchell and husband Charles; grandchildren Johanna and David Balogh; niece Lenke Erki and husband Bob and nephew Sandor Bozo and wife Romana. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 to 5 pm at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster, where a service will follow at 5:00 pm. Interment will be private.
