Estelle B. Fleming, 88, of Hanover, Pa., formerly of Manchester, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at  Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace in Hanover.

Born Nov. 20, 1925, in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Bessie Hill Buchanan Bennett. She was the wife of Luther R. Fleming, her husband of 61 years.

She was a housewife and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester. Years ago, she was involved in her sons' activities, including PTA and Cub Scouts. She enjoyed working on the family farm and family activities. She was also a caregiver to her elderly neighbors.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons Ronald Fleming and wife Brenda, of Manchester, Robert Fleming and wife Michele, of Upperco, and Russell Fleming and wife Martha, of Hampstead; sister Anna Campbell, of Tennessee; grandchildren Joyce Cook and Lori Muller, both of Manchester, and Jaime Hanson, of Littlestown, Pa.; great-grandchildren Michelle, Daniel and Christopher Cook and Samantha and Kody Muller; and a nephew, Thomas Buchanan, of Georgia.

She was predeceased by siblings Harvey Buchanan, Ruth Laughter and Ruby Harris.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. Matthew and Norma Schenning officiating.

Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester.
