Ethel Hinegardner, 82, of Hampstead, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.

Born May 6, 1930, in Morrill, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Canie and Lila Reed Hollins. She was the wife of Cheslie Hedrick "Ches" Hinegardner Jr.

She was a charter member of Hampstead Baptist Church and a member of the women's auxiliary of Gideons International.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Cheslie Hedrick "Rick" Hinegardner III, of Hampstead; a daughter, Patricia Gail Hinegardner, of Hampstead; and sisters Edna Bourn, of Middle River, and Myrtle Davis, of Salinas, Calif.

She was predeceased by brothers William Hollins and Canie Hollens; and sisters Ruby Biorge, Arbutus Bognanni and Stella Hollins.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, with her pastor, the Rev. Chris Brammer, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
