Eula Lee Skeen, 83, of Westminster, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born June 30, 1930, in Abingdon, Va., she was the daughter of the late Leonard F. and Bessie Rourke Norris. She was the wife of James Denver Skeen Sr., who died April 30, 2008.

She was a seamstress for English-American Sewing Factory. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Independent Church.

Surviving are children Barbara and Allen Bare, of Silver Run, James D. Skeen Jr., of Westminster, and Donald and Darleen Skeen, of South Carolina; siblings Letha Parris, of Frederick, and Shelton Norris, of Abingdon, Va.; a son-in-law, Skeeter Bowers, of New Windsor; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by children Ronda Skeen, Wayne Skeen and Lula Bowers; a sister, Dorothy Profit; and a brother, Junior Norris.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster; and 9 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hills Memory Garden in Abingdon, Va., with her nephew, the Rev. Tommy Parris, officiating.
