Eulalia Florence Frenzel, age 94, of Hampstead, MD, passed away at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester, MD on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born September 29, 1919 in Rensselaer, IN to the late Reverend Walter Schroeter and Mrs. Augusta (Beccue) Schroeter. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Reverend Charles Otto Frenzel. She made her home for many years with her daughter Faith. She supported the ministry of her husband, a Lutheran pastor, in Dieterich, IL; Paris, IL; Marion, NC; Owego, NY; and Colden, NY, until his death in 1976. She often served as a church organist. She was active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Valparaiso Guild. She was an accomplished quilter and quilt designer. She was a woman of quiet strength. She will be dearly missed by her many survivors: sister Elaine Bell and husband James Bell, and brother Reverend Harold Schroeter and wife Carol Schroeter; children Grace Frenzel and husband Leonard Kahn, Faith Frenzel, Timothy Frenzel and wife Marianne Perry, William Frenzel and wife Janet Levy, Jonathan Frenzel and wife Justina Fugh, and Charity Stover and husband Walter Stover; and grandchildren Jason, Leah, Emily, Christina, Zachary, Gwendolyn, Jeremy, and Joshua. Several cousins and nine nieces and nephews also survive her. She is preceded in death by her brother Alvin Schroeter and wife Anita Schroeter. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 27 from 3-5:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m. and Monday, July 28 7-9:00 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, MD. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Owings Mills, MD.
