Frances "Carolyn" Keiner, 76, of Hanover, and formerly of Westminster, passed away on December 19, 2017 at Hanover Hospital. Carolyn was born on August 10, 1941 in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late William H. Sr. and Josephine (DiMartino) Debus. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Keiner, Jr., who predeceased her February 9, 2016. Carolyn was employed by Westinghouse and Northropp Grumman, where she worked as an expeditor coordinator until her retirement in 2001. Carolyn enjoyed playing cards and scrabble, listening to music, playing the piano and singing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Ladies of Sodality at St. John Catholic Church. Surviving her are children and spouses Deborah A. and Marc Rock of Charlotte, NC, George M. and Kelly Keiner of Westminster, Nancy A. and Billy Young of Edgewood, Timothy L. and Cristy Keiner of Hanover, PA; siblings Joanne G. Berterman of Baltimore, William H. Debus, Jr. of Delaware, and Barbara A. and husband Michael Ballard of Fallston; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Charles J. "Shorty" Keiner, III. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster, with a rosary service at 3 p.m. and a Christian Wake service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 23rd at 12 noon at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster with Father Christopher DeLeon as celebrant. Interment will be in St., Thomas Episcopal Cemetery in Owings Mills. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's name to either the , 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979; Homewood Benevolence Fund, 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA 17331; St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster MD 21157.
