Francis Earl Bauerlien, Sr., or better known as and would only answer to- "Sonny", went to be with his much missed wife, Linda, on Thursday March 1, 2018. Sonny loved J & B, Dale Earnhardt, Lucky Strikes, his grandkids, camping, Hank Williams, Sr., and his cowboy boots. Not necessarily in that order. He disliked Fords, Dodges or anything that wasn't a Chevy. He was a plumber by trade but also was a very handy craftsman- building his home with his own two hands. He could also fix just about any vehicle put in from of him and build anything out of wood. He was a proud veteran having served in the Army. When he left to be with Linda, he left behind his daughters Tracy Payne, Carla McCarron and her husband Jim; daughter-in-law Diane Bauerlien; his sisters Shirley Rill and husband Larry, Debbie Long and husband Buddy; his brother Carroll Bauerlien and wife Lynda; his grandchildren Barbie Markey and husband Luke, Samantha Olander and husband Ken, James L. McCarron IV, Delaney McCarron, Sydney McCarron, Jessica Thomas and husband Cam, Dustin Bauerlien, Rebecca Bauerlien, Dalton Payne; great granddaughter Luella Thomas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. As well as being overjoyed for being reunited with Linda, the love of his life, he will also be very happy to see his son, Francis Earl Bauerlien, Jr., and like his father was better known as and would only answer to "Junior", and his parents, Casper (Cap) and Doris Bauerlien. Sonny wanted it known that he passed as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctor's orders and raising hell for almost 8 decades- He did it his way. The family will welcome friends on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.prittsfuneralhome.com.
