Fred L. Vealey, 88 of Towson, MD, and formerly of New Oxford, PA, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Brightview Towson. Born September 26, 1926 in Roanoke, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha Cook Vealey. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Vealey. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of WWII. He had been a budget analyst for many years. He was an avid model train collector and started a model train club, The Penn N Scale Club. He had been active with the Boy Scouts of America and had served as a scout master. He had been a member of the Freedom District Lions Club. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lisa Vealey of Phoenix, MD, and granddaughters Robyn Ann Vealey and Erin Marie Vealey. He was predeceased by his siblings Burtis Patterson and Gladys Mae Blevins. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the .
