Frederick E. Schanken, Jr. 61 of Westminster, MD lost his battle with cancer and passed away on November 15, 2015.��He was the son of the late Frederick E. Schanken, Sr. and the late Mary (Zinn) Schanken. He was the doting and loving husband of Naomi (Melton) Schanken.��He is also survived by his finest accomplishments, Timothy Schanken and Brian Schanken. As well as a sister Janet Grebel of Houston, Texas. He earned his BA degree at Notre Dame of Maryland MD. He earned his MBA degree at Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. As the Senior Director of Facilities Management at the Community College of Baltimore County he was well respected for his ability to manage multiple projects on multiple campuses interacting flawlessly with all levels of outside contractors, government officials and all levels of employees. Prior to that he was Director of Facilities for Automatic Data Processing (ADP) and Director of Facilities for SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories.��He began his professional career as Owner and President of F. E. Schanken, Inc. a family owned mechanical contracting business. Family and friends can gather at Pritts Funeral Home,�412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157, Tuesday November 17th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and Wednesday November 18th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.��In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Helping Up Mission,�1029 E Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21202
