George Edward Reeves Jr., 83, of Manchester, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at home.

Born Dec. 18, 1929, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George and May Lang Reeves.

He had been a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and had worked as a lithographer at DeVilbiss and Company prior to his retirement.

He had been a member of the Dundalk Moose No. 183 and had been a two term governor and administrator of the Dundalk Moose. He had been an avid history reader.

Surviving are daughters Ruth Reeves, Theresa M. LaFrance, Karen Williams and Barbara Reeves; a stepdaughter, Mary Barger; a brother, David Reeves; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, with the Rev. David Bare, chaplain of Carroll Hospice, officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
