George H. Hollman, 84, of Westminster, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Lorien of Taneytown. Born on October 4, 1931 in Daniels, MD, he was the son of the late Alfred B. and Geneva D. Pilcher Hollman. He was the husband of Nora L. Hollman, his wife of 64 years. George was a 1948 graduate of Ellicott City High School. He was a Production Supervisor with C.R. Daniels, Inc. for 35 years, retiring in 1984. George enjoyed golfing, ballroom dancing, walking at the mall, and especially spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are children and spouses G. Wayne Hollman and Paulette of Ocean Pines, MD, Kirk D. and Sandra Hollman of Linwood, MD, Deborah and John Pickett of Hanover, PA, Tammy Harry and Wayne of Mechanicsville, MD, and Charlotte Busey of Lusby, MD; siblings Frances M. Entsminger of Fulton, MD and Darlene H. Jessen of Sykesville, MD; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother William B. Hollman. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Bragg officiating. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
