George Robert Miller, 86, of Randallstown, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Copper Ridge.

Born April 20, 1927, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Walter P. and Laura Bailey Miller. He was the husband of Doris Basler Miller, his wife of 62 years.

He was an Army veteran who served during World War II and retired as a construction supervisor. He was a member of VFW Post 521 in Tollgate and American Legion Post 122 in Owings Mills.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Gary Miller and wife Jill, Sandra Voight and husband Gene, Allan Miller and wife Helen, Wayne Miller and wife Karen, Dana Brocato and husband Curt, Kevin Miller and wife Kimberly, and Walter Miller and wife Melissa; a sister, Arlene Dorney; brothers Richard and Donald Miller; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Miller.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
