Gerald Gabriel Pantaleo, Sr., 94, of Westminster, formerly of Annapolis, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born April 17, 1921, in Annapolis, he was the son of the late Ettore and Concetta (Mazzucca) Pantaleo. He was the husband of the late Rosina F. (Provenza) Pantaleo, his wife of 63 years, who died in 2010. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and was a WWII veteran, serving in the 12th Army Air Corps. He was retired from the State of Maryland Purchasing Bureau. Mr. Pantaleo was a member of St. John Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #1393. He also enjoyed model trains and sharing a drink with friends and family. Surviving are children and spouses, Gerald Jr. and Jan Pantaleo of Edgewater, Rosemary and Tony Trenkle Sr. of Ellicott City, Lisa and Dan Boyle Sr. of Finksburg and sons Robert Pantaleo of Biglerville, PA and Joseph Pantaleo of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Gerald III, Rico, Tony Jr., Angela, Alexander, Daniel Jr. and Garrison. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00am at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St, Westminster. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery a Garrison Forest on Friday June 26th at 11:30am. Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster, MD 21157.
