Gioacchino "Jack" Cellini, 79, of Westminster, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Cherrywood Future Care in Reisterstown, Maryland. Jack was born on October 4, 1938 in Queens, New York, to the late Dominic and Mary (Carita) Cellini. He was the loving husband of Ingrid Wermuth Cellini whom he married in April,1959. Jack graduated from Bishop Newman High School in Philadelphia in 1956. He attended college for 1 year and then served in the Army from 1959 until 1961. Jack retired from Black and Decker as a Manager in 2003. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his son David (Laura) Cellini of Abingdon, and his daughter Jennifer (Michael) Woolf of Westminster. He also leaves his granddaughter Cecelia Cellini, and many loving nieces and nephews. Jack was, above all, a family man who loved nothing more than his family's annual beach vacations. He also enjoyed his animals, fishing for any type of fish and model building and collecting. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Westminster where he was also a Knight in the Knights of Columbus # 1393. In lieu of flowers, Jack wished that donations be made, in his name, to the Franciscan Mission Association, 12290 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042. Services and interment are private.
