Glenn Elwood White, 69, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at home.

Born June 7, 1943, in Hampstead, he was the son of the late William E. and Evelyn Adams White.

He had worked at Black and Decker for more than 30 years, the Carroll County Roads Department for five years and at Walmart for 10 years.

Surviving are daughters Tammy Yazvac and husband Jason, and Vicki Nichols and husband Robert, all of Hanover, Pa.; sisters Linda Cook, Sue Charles and Patsy Hughes; brothers William White, Arthur White and Dennis White; grandsons Joseph Nichols and Carsen Nichols; and granddaughters Hailey Nichols, Emilie Yazvac and Sadie Yazvac.

He was predeceased by brothers Michael and Ronald White.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service, noon Friday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, with the Rev. Melissa Rudolph officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to your local volunteer fire department.
