Grace P. Bair, 95 of the New Oxford and formerly of Hanover, passed peacefully on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at the Brethren Home Community. She was married for 39 years to Daniel L. "Bud" Bair who died Aug. 30, 1980. Born Jan. 2, 1919 in Taneytown, MD, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Lillie M. (Hahn) Angell. Grace was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. She enjoyed traveling and going on vacation to the beach in Virginia Beach, VA and Myrtle Beach, S.C. She really enjoyed her visit to Branson Missouri to hear the music and visit the theaters. She also liked going with family and friends to play bingo. Grace loved spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grace is survived by two daughters, Irene G. Little and her husband William of Hanover and Betty L. Hartlaub of East Berlin; one sister Lillie Bittle of Mt. Joy, VA; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Doris P. Williams; two brothers Carl and Roy Angell; and her sister, Lena Snyder. A service to celebrate the life of Grace Bair will be held at 11am Thursday at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Thursday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
