Grant David Kinkade Sr., 45, of Westminster, died unexpectedly Friday, June 14, 2013, in an accident in Fenwick Island, Del.

Born Sept. 29, 1967, in Cheverly, he was the son of William David and Odile Eugenie Jeanne Cauchois "Dee" Kinkade, of Nashville, Ark. He was the husband of Penny Hartman Kinkade, his wife of 20 years.

He was a senior partner with New York Life, winning Partner of the Year award several times. He enjoyed golfing, playing racquetball, traveling to the beach and Las Vegas, was an avid Ravens fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are children Shelby, Madison, and Tucker Kinkade, all of Westminster; sisters Sandra McKoin and Marcia Rainwater, both of Cookeville, Tenn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lifepoint Church, 1701 Emory Road, Reisterstown, with the Rev. Mike Hipsley officiating. Interment will be private.
