Grason E. Fowble, 88, of Ocean City, died Sunday, June 30, 2013.

Born Sept. 15, 1924, in Beckleysville, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Ethel Fowble. He was the husband of the late Marguerite A. "Maggie" Keckner Fowble, his wife of 56 years.

He had resided for 60 years in Cockeysville, 56 of which where spent on Greentop Road. He had served as a corporal in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Surviving are siblings Wayne L. Fowble, Charlotte M. Wisnom and E. Jane Elseroad; friend and companion, Janet M. Miller; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was predeceased by siblings Gilbert E. Fowble Jr., Robert I. Fowble and Mary Ruth Myers.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
