Gregory Clinton Maier, 54, of Westminster, died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at home.

Born Jan. 30, 1960, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Christian C. Maier Jr. and Gloria Davis Maier. He was the husband of Tamie Taylor Maier, whom he married July 21, 1984.

He was the owner of CMC Computers in Westminster. He was a 1978 graduate of Westminster High School. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, racquetball, boating and rooting for the Ravens. He especially enjoyed being with family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Megan L. Maier, of Columbia, and Morgan T. Maier, of Westminster; a brother, Christian C. Maier, of Westminster; mother-in-law and father-in-law Suzanne and Ronald Jones, of Parsonsburg; brother-in-law David and wife Kim Taylor, of Westminster; sister-in-law Debbie and husband David Meagher, of Monkton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of a memorial service, 6 p.m. Saturday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with the Rev. David Highfield officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Carroll Hospice's Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157; or to the , 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
