H. Lee Stahle, 76 of Manchester, died Tuesday February 9, 2016 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born April 25, 1939 in Little Orleans, he was the son of the late Dayle Stahle and Clara Price Stahle. He was the husband of Margaret "Maggie" Louis Stahle. Lee was a retired machinist for ESAB Welding Products. He was a member of the American National Street Rod Association and the United Auto Workers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Donna Godwin of Westminster, Debbie Gordon of Parkton, Dayle Stahle of Florida, and H. Lee Stahle of Texas; his stepsons Tom Vail and wife April of Westminster, and Jeff Vail and wife Tracy of Hanover, PA.; his grandchildren, Thomas, Aidan and Mackenzie Vail, Samantha Godwin; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Garey of Woodlawn, Sis Hawley of Hanover, PA. and Richard Stahle of Spring Grove, PA. The family will receive friends beginning 10 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 until time of funeral service at Noon at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester with the Rev. Ladonna Thomas officiating. Interment will be private. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the , 217 East Redwood Street, 23rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201 or to St. David's Lutheran Church, 1032 Musselman Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
