Harold Eugene Brodbeck age 82 of Manchester, MD died Friday Jan. 2, 2015 at his home. Born July 18, 1932 in Greenmount, MD he was the son of the late Harry Leroy and Florence L. Blocker Brodbeck. He was the husband of 61 years to Virgie Luella Brown Brodbeck. He was the owner and operator of Brodbeck's Garage and salvage yard. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, David Brodbeck and wife Barbara of Hanover, PA, John Brodbeck of Manchester, MD, Dale Brodbeck and wife Wanda of Hampstead, MD, Jerry Brodbeck and wife Marlene of Westminster, MD and Diane Haines and husband Scott of Hampstead, MD. Grandchildren, Jennifer Blizzard and husband Jeff, Rachael, Jason and Justin Brodbeck and Sarah Haines, a great granddaughter, Natalie Blizzard and sister, Audrey Brodbeck. He was predeceased by brothers, Carl Brodbeck and John William Brodbeck, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Greenmount Church Cemetery, Greenmount, MD. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. at the funeral chapel.
