Harold E. Stoner, 82, of Mulberry, FL formerly of Westminster, MD died Friday November 6, 2015 at Arbor Oaks in Lakeland FL. Born August 8, 1933 in Westminster MD, he was the son of the late Harold and Hilda Stoner. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Pamela (Pam) Stoner. Harold graduated from Westminster High School in 1951 and Baltimore Business College in 1953. He enlisted in the Air Force and served from 1953 to 1957. Harold was a partner and served as president for Westminster Nurseries Inc until he retired in 1995 and moved to Mulberry Florida. He was also president for several years for the American Nurseryman Assoc and a member of the International Propagators Society. While in Florida, Harold and his wife took up the game of golf. He had a life long passion for growing and carrying for plants. His yard was always the envy of the neighborhood. Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children Debbie Royer (Kurt) of Westminster, Kenny Stoner (Mia) of Cape May, NJ, and Sandra Watkins (Glenn) of Sewell, NJ; a sister, Betty Lee Warner, brothers Charles, Jim and John, and grandchildren Erica, Ryan, Jillian and Grant. He was predeceased by a son Christopher Stoner. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. TBA in MD.
