Hazel J. Fletcher, 82 of Eldersburg, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown. Born May 22, 1932 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Barham. She was the wife of Ralph E. Fletcher, her husband of 63 years. She worked for C & P Telephone Company, Winchester, VA, and as a dietary worker for Baltimore County Schools in Pikesville. She was a former member of Friendship Church of the Brethren in Linthicum. She was a current member of Wards Chapel United Methodist Church in Randallstown. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and cooking. Surviving in addition to her husband are son and daughter-in-law Vance and Charlene Fletcher of Baltimore, son Larry Fletcher of Jessup, grandchildren Jonathan and Alison Fletcher, great grandchildren Kieran and Tamasin Fletcher, sister and brother-in-law Connie and David Sunderlin of Winchester, VA, sister-in-law Helen Barham, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Arlene Butler, Ruby Keckley, Christine Rudolph, and Charlotte Alexander, by her brother Lonnie Barham, and by her brother-in-law William Alexander Jr. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville with Pastor John Nupp officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wards Chapel UMC Capital Fund, 11023 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133.
