Helen Elaine Andersen Rine, 84, formerly of Hebbville, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Brinton Woods Health Care Center in Sykesville.

Born March 6, 1928, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Anders Andersen and Othelia Olsen Andersen. She was the wife of the late John W. Rine.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society.

Surviving are children Gail Leyh, of Taylorsville, and Nancy Perkins, of Parkville; a sister, Nancy Bettien, of Ocean City; and grandchildren Christina and Teresa Leyh, and Cory and Connor Perkins.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

A memorial service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church, 7509 Windsor Mill Road, Hebbville, the Rev. Mike Sharp officiating. Interment will be private.
