Helen G. Warner, 99, of Westminster, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Country Acres Assisted Living in Westminster.

Born Oct. 26, 1913, on the family farm in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Warner and Darcie Benson Warner.

She graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown in 1931. She had worked in Quality Control at Bendix Corporation for many years.

As a member of an extended family, she was active all her life in community and church activities. A life member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church, she served on numerous committees, including the Willing Workers. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her companions and care givers at Country Acres Assisted Living.

Surviving are a brother, James E. Warner, of Chincotegue, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owing Mills.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main St., Reisterstown, with pastors, the Revs. Steven Cochran and Brenda Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
