Hella Magdalena Steinebrunner, age 85, of Sykesville, died Friday, November 21, 2014, at Seasons Hospice at Northwest Hospital. Born February 9, 1929, in Zell im Wiesental, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ernst Diesslin and Louise Schneider Diesslin. She was the wife of the late William F. Steinebrunner who died in 1999. Hella had worked as a beautician in Germany prior to moving to the U.S. in 1957. In addition to being a homemaker, she had worked along with her husband for many years in their family business, W.H. Pattern Company. Hella enjoyed music, cooking, gardening and especially, spending time with her family. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Hella and James Stevenson, son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Cindy Steinebrunner and daughter and fiance, Rosemary Hannas and Steve Merson; sisters, Dorli Diesslin and Vreni Rummele; grandchildren, Cheryl Wieland (Donald), Jennifer Brown (Jaime), Richard Hannas (Jeannie), Natalie Steinebrunner (Kresmir Tokic), Richard Steinebrunner, Jessica Stevenson, William "Tommy" Steinebrunner and Michael Steinebrunner; step-grandchildren, James, Kevin and Keith Stevenson and great-grandchidlren, Brooke, Jordan, Jacob, Colby, Juliana, Corey, Jaxsen, Ryan and Lily. She is also survived by 5 step-great-grandchildren; former son-in-law, Richard Hannas, former daughter-in-law; Kathleen Craven and many extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 PM.. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Seasons Hospice Foundation, 6934 Aviation Blvd., Glen Burnie, MD 21061 or to the Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., 912 Killian Hill Rd., SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.
