Rev. Holly Elaine Slaugh, 74, of Silver Spring, MD, beloved wife of 37 years of Charles Slaugh, passed away on Thursday September 4, at home. She is the daughter of the late Theodore and Bess Mueller. She was born in Baltimore. Her first marriage to Samuel Willis ended in divorce. She most recently served as a United Methodist Local Pastor at several churches in western Carroll County, Maryland; including Johnsville, Middleburg, and Pipe Creek United Methodist churches. Before entering the ministry she worked in graphic arts, most notably as a partner in M&S Graphics. Rev. Slaugh was a 1958 graduate from Western High School in Baltimore and she attended the University of Maryland. In addition to her husband, Charles, a brother Theodore, and his wife Sharon, she is survived by her three children; Thomas Willis, Daniel Willis and his wife Lan, and Tiffany Craig and her fiancé, Dudley Redding; Four grandchildren, Meagan Getsinger, Danielle Brown, Jazmyne Craig, and Eva Willis; and four great grandchildren, Grace Willis, Ella Getsinger, and Aiden and Lela Brown. Rev. Slaugh was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Mueller Weaver. Her hobbies included ceramics, writing and her family. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday September 13, at Riderwood Village, 3120 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD.
