Jacklyn Kay Bennett, 75, of Westminster, passed away, surrounded by her family, on March 8, 2017 at Golden Living Center. Born on January 10, 1942 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Clara Marie Berger Arthur and Lester "Jack" Harold Arthur. She was the long time companion of Ron Thomas. Jacklyn was retired after 52 years in banking. Surviving her are daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Joseph Allred of Finksburg; sister Diane Crider of Timonium; grandchildren Corey, Dylan, and Emily Allred; nieces Karin and Kristin; and nephews John, Alex, and Clay. She was predeceased by her loving brother Gary Arthur. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster with her brother-in-law, Pastor Fred Crider, officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the , 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784 or to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown, MD 21158.
