Jacqueline Wagoner "Jackie" Aldrich, 85, of Clemson, S.C., formerly of Mount Airy, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Oconee Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Robert Burnis Aldrich.

Surviving are son Larry Stanley Bowman and wife Mary, of Seneca, S.C.; stepsons Robert M. Aldrich and wife Karen, of Germantown, and Wayne R. Aldrich and wife Cindy, of Mount Airy; sister and brother-in-law Edna and George Miller, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Stanley Bowman; and a stepdaughter, Kathleen R. Aldrich.

She and her husband moved to Clemson from Mount Airy in 1999, where they enjoyed retirement. She liked travel, dancing, studying the Bible, both Baltimore Orioles and Clemson baseball games, animals, and most of all being around and helping other people.

A family graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Oconee Medical Center Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672; or the Clemson Downs Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631.
