James Anthony Taylor, 59, of Laurel and formerly of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. James was born on December 10, 1957 in Baltimore and was the son of the late James Arthur Taylor, Jr. and the late Rachael Elizabeth (Stidham) Sadler. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Edith (Baum) Taylor, his wife of 40 years. James was a 1975 graduate of Milford Mill Senior High School. He was a produce buyer for Coastal Sunbelt Produce. In his younger years he was a Boy Scout. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. James was a hard worker and greatly enjoyed his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons Patrick James Taylor of Reisterstown and Kevin Jay Taylor (Devin) of Hagerstown; brothers Daniel Arthur Taylor, Michael Patrick Taylor, Timothy Thomas Taylor, Anthony Enrico "Rick" Stidham, Andrew Stidham; and numerous sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
